Native Land Acknowledgement: I live and work on the ancestral lands of the Chumash and Tongva (Gabrieleno) peoples, who have stewarded this place since time immemorial. I recognize that my presence here is tied to a history of violent colonization—a disruption of their sacred relationship with this land and waters. With humility, I commit to supporting Indigenous communities and caring for this place in ways that honor their enduring sovereignty, knowledge, and resilience. My actions will include both reverence for the land and active accountability to its original caretakers.
